Sabina Schladitz

Sabina graduated in 1997 from the prestigious École hôtelière de Lausanne – Switzerland, and has ever since dedicated her professional career to the luxury sector mainly in hotel, tourism, retail and real estate business. She first worked for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Washington, Wolfsburgand Barcelona, primarily doing hotel openings. Then she became the Corporate Director of Operations of Selenta Group, a Spanish hotel company with 10 hotels across Spain, and finally, in her position as Managing Director of Reig Capital Group, she was in charge of their retail brands Azzaro and Vasari and the franchise licenses for DVF and Manolo Blahnik, as well as the development of hotel projects like the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona or the W Hotel Vieques, Puerto Rico.

Since 2011 she is working as an independent consultant dedicated to the development of innovative business concepts in the real estate and tourism sector, re-conceptualisation of existing projects, and master planning of residential resorts, inside and outside of Spain. She worked on the master planning of Balvanera Polo & Country Club in Querétero, Mexico, and developed a new wellness concept for W Hotels & Resort, Fit Retreat. Another of her innovative projects is the creation of The Onsider Barcelona, Extended-Stay Luxury Residences, the first concept of this kind in Spain and she led the renovation and re-conceptualisation of the Gran Hotel Princesa Sofia (today hotel Sofia), one of the most emblematic hotels in Barcelona.

In 2010 she co-founded The Shopping Night Barcelona which she and her business partner successfully organised during 7 editions reaching a total of 90.000 visitors in just one evening.

Today Sabina owns two operations companies 1) Harmony Serviced Residences, developing and managing high-end fully serviced apartment buildings with hotel like amenities and common spaces (pool, rooftop terraces, gym) and 2) La Fabrica &Co, development and operations of the first purpose built coliving, coworking and community building in Barcelona with 113 studios, 1.500 m2 of coworking and 2.000 m2 of community spaces (community kitchens, lobby, pool, rooftop terraces, gym).

Sabina has served as an external Advisory Council Member for Global Myner Advisors and as an Advisory Board Member of the real estate development companies Rhythm & Harmony Real Estate Developer LLC (Miami) and Colinsky SL (Barcelona). Also, she is the president of the alumni association of École hôtelièr de Lausanne in Spain and founding partner of Barcelona Global, a non-profit association that promotes projects of public-private collaboration.Born in Germany, Sabina speaks 5 languages and has lived in 9 countries on 4 different continents.
