Anil Khera is Founder and CEO of Node, whose mission is to create a better way to live in cities. Node designs, invests in and operates coliving and studio-led furnished apartment communities alongside local development partners across North America and Europe.
Node’s residents are typically under 35 and single, with around 20% students, often new to the city and in a searching season of life: looking for somewhere to belong as much as somewhere to live. Node is built around that, with furnished homes in walkable urban neighborhoods, shared spaces, and a resident experience designed for connection rather than anonymity.
Since 2016 Node has been involved in executing more than 30 projects and 9,000 beds, over €1bn of value, in some cases as designer and in others as investor and operator. Having built and exited institutional living platforms in Europe, Node is now scaling in the US and Canada.
Anil previously spent 11 years at Blackstone as a Managing Director in London, working on $30 billion of transactions, and created and sold Nido, a £415m, 2,500-bed European living platform. He holds an HBA from Ivey and a BA from Waterloo.
