Jo Winchester is a freelance coliving consultant, specialising in writing coliving demand studies and market analysis to assist developers in obtaining planning and attracting funding partners.
Jo’s in-depth coliving market knowledge is drawn from 25 years of valuation experience in both PBSA and Coliving at CBRE and Newmark. Jo founded the PBSA team at CBRE and in December 2023, her achievements in the PBSA sector were recognised by admission to the Property Week PBSA Hall of Fame.
Over the last 8 years, Jo has been increasingly focused on providing advice and market analysis in the coliving sector. She wrote Newmark’s published research ’Emerging Trends in Co-living (2024), which sets out the demand and business case for coliving. She was part of the industry response group for the 2024 GLA space standards for coliving. She is also a regular speaker at industry events.
