Dandi

Dandi is the culmination of nearly 40 years of dedication by Ali Reza Ravanshad to reimagining urban living in London.

His journey into the residential market wasn’t planned - it was fate.

It began in Paris, in a tiny studio flat on the ninth floor of a building with no lift. Every night, he climbed those stairs, feeling the weight of the city and longing for something better. He remembers the hesitation of admitting where he lived, and the feeling of being invisible in a city known for its beauty yet indifferent to those who couldn’t afford it.

Paris was full of chambres de bonne - small, forgotten spaces tucked away on the top floors of Haussmannian buildings. He wanted more, but at the time, renting was his only choice. It was the early 1980s, a different world.

Dandi is the home Ali once dreamed of: a space that adapts to life, rather than the other way around.

Their studios are designed around the way people actually live - shifting effortlessly between rest, work, entertaining and everyday life. Carefully considered layouts, adaptable furniture and distinctive interiors make each space feel like more than somewhere to stay: a place to feel at home, inspired and connected.

At Dandi, they bring together architecture, interior design, furniture, hospitality and community to create a complete experience around living. Their buildings combine private, design-led studios with generous shared spaces and a programme of cultural, social and wellness experiences that bring residents together. Each location has its own identity, shaped by its architecture, neighbourhood and community.

They are vertically integrated, remaining closely involved from land acquisition and planning through construction, interior design, furniture, operations and property management. This allows them to take a holistic approach to the resident experience and consider every detail, from the architecture of a building to the way a piece of furniture functions within a studio.
